The BC Coalition of Nursing Associations (BCCNA) has developed a nursing synthesis and review of the Ministry of Health policy papers.
In 2014-2015 the Select Standing Committee on Health undertook consultations to ask British Columbians for input related to maintaining the sustainability and quality of B.C.’s health care system. Specifically they asked “how can we improve health and health care services in rural BC? In particular, what long term solutions can address the challenges of recruitment and retention of health care professionals in rural B.C.?
